M.O.V.E. (Movement-Oriented-Variable-Exercise) NJ is an appointment-only health and fitness facility located at 909 Jefferson Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. Our clients receive the highest quality training from our nationally certified coaches. What We Do

An exercise program cannot begin without proper assessment. We believe if you are not assessing, you are simply guessing! Therefore, we use an extensive assessment process during the initial training consult and throughout the training process. Everyone is taken through a functional movement screening as a baseline assessment prior to training. This helps identify any asymmetries and/or movement dysfunction in any individual’s essential movement patterns that could pose a risk of injury. Strength, power, and endurance tests are also performed. These tests serve several purposes. The first purpose is to identify the client’s physical readiness to perform an exercise and the second is to create the individualized exercise program tailored to the client’s needs and goals. All sessions are athletically based and individually customized by a Program Design Specialist.

What We Use

We work primarily with free weights, kettle bells, cable resistance equipment, suspension training and a variety of other tools like medicine balls, sleds, bands, battling ropes and more. These are all proven and battle-tested training techniques that will strengthen more muscles, burn more calories, and create the kind of functional strength, mobility, and endurance that athletes possess (regardless of age). The equipment used is designed to give you the greatest return on the energy you exert in our workouts.
